Justdrums has been conducting Vacation Care Sessions for OSHC Services within the Adelaide Metropolitan area. Please contact us to book in a session in the upcoming Christmas/New Year Holidays.
What does the session consist of?
Fun, lots of fun!
Dave is experienced with teaching children and knows how to engage and interest them in percussion and drumming.
The children will be involved in an icebreaker game to introduce them to Dave and the session.
Dave will introduce the instruments that he supplies and will speak to the children about the origins, and give them the opportunity to hold and explore the instruments.
Dave will also talk about recycling and turning un-wanted materials that would otherwise be thrown away, into musical instruments.
The children will be taught a simple piece of music which they will be able to learn by the end of the session. This will encourage them to work as a team and produce a team result.
Participants can be provided with a shaker or something similar to take home at the end of the session for a small additional cost. Prices are dependent on the number of students involved.
